DONATIONS NEEDED

Businesses, churches and service organizations are needed to hold SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVES from JULY 17 TO AUGUST 14 and bring the donations to the Stuff the School Bus Event, Aug. 14th!

Individuals are needed to DONATE school supplies and bring them to the DROP OFF SITES or to the Stuff the School Bus Event on Aug. 14th!

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Volunteers are needed to:

  • ORGANIZE SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVES and bring the donations to the Stuff the School Bus event on Aug. 14th
  • DISTRIBUTE FLIERS
  • TRANSPORT AND/OR SORT DONATED SCHOOL SUPPLIES
  • HELP SET UP FOR DISTRIBUTION
  • HELP CHILDREN PICK UP THEIR SCHOOL SUPPLIES!!!

  • Rulers
  • Two pocket folders
  • Pencil boxes
  • Art sketch pads
  • Highlighters
  • Sharpie markers
  • Graphic paper
  • One inch binders
  • GENTLY USED:  backpacks, Kindergarten mats, tennis shoes and scientific calculators (TI-30, TI-83 or TI-84)

STUFF THE DESK EVENT - FOR KIDS WHO NEED SUPPLIES

Children and families who need financial support qualify for Stuff the Desk.  School supplies will be distributed at the Boys and Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area on

Friday, August 22, 6:30 am - 6:00 pm

Saturday, August 23, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

To participate, bring your children to Stuff the Desk, bring a non-perishable food item (to be donated to local food pantries) and fill out an application.  Translating services are available.
